This project was to create an infographic based around an environmental issue of your choice. I chose to create one based around geothermal energy as it is an often overlooked form of renewable energy.

The final infographic details some general information on geothermal energy as well as how geothermal heat pumps work in residential homes.

Before I started designing, I compiled research on geothermal energy and gathered copy to use on the final infographic.

To start the design process, I created a mind map to plan out some elements that I may want to feature on the final infographic. Using elements from that map, I created sketches to plan out the layout of the poster.

After sketching, I started making digital mockups using a combination of InDesign and Illustrator. Shown below is the steps I took from the initial draft to the final poster design.
